Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how [Developer Name] (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and otherwise processes personal data in connection with the Android application BUHO - Beasts Under Human Order (package name: com.elenazakhr.reinobestias), the backend/API services used to operate the app, including services under the api.reino-bestias.com domain, and limited supporting pages used for the app, such as privacy policy or account deletion pages under the reino-bestias.com domain.

This Privacy Policy applies primarily to the mobile application and related supporting service pages. Third-party services, platforms, and websites that you access through the app or your device may have their own privacy policies and terms.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

A. Account and sign-in information
If you sign in with Google, we may receive information associated with your Google account, such as your email address, display name, Google account identifier, and related authentication data, depending on the sign-in configuration and the information made available to us by Google.

B. Profile information
We may collect the name or nickname you provide for use in the app.

C. Questionnaire and user input data
We collect information that you submit through the in-app questionnaire or other input flows. This may include responses to test questions, self-reported age, gender or a choice not to disclose it, free-text responses, selected options, and other content you provide in the app.

D. Generated, derived, and result data
We may create and store results based on your data, such as short results, full results, compatibility results, archetype attributes, descriptive result text, and other derived or inferred data created to provide the app’s features.

E. Purchase, entitlement, and verification data
If you make a one-time purchase or buy a pack through Google Play, we may receive and process limited transaction data necessary to verify the purchase and provide the paid content or feature. This may include product identifiers, purchase tokens, order-related identifiers, verification results, entitlement status, usage balances where applicable, timestamps, and refund, revocation, or cancellation status.

F. Technical and service data
When you use the app or when our systems process your requests, we or our service providers may generate technical and operational data such as IP address, request timestamps, app version, device or operating system information, network metadata, authentication events, security events, and error logs.

G. Support and deletion request data
If you contact us, request support, or submit a request to delete your account or data, we may collect the information contained in that request, as well as records of how it was handled.

H. Local device storage
The app may also store certain information locally on your device, such as language preferences, in-progress questionnaire data, or cached app data, in order to support app functionality.

I. Compatibility-related data
If you use a compatibility feature involving another app user, we may process relevant data from both participants in order to generate the requested compatibility result.

2. How We Use Data

We may use personal data to:

  • create, authenticate, and maintain your account;
  • run the questionnaire and generate short results, full results, and compatibility results;
  • personalize content and maintain related user state within the app;
  • process and verify Google Play purchases, grant entitlements, account for the use of purchased packs, and restore or deny access where appropriate;
  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, replay, unauthorized transactions, security incidents, and other misuse;
  • operate, maintain, troubleshoot, debug, and improve the app and backend services;
  • respond to support requests, legal requests, and deletion requests;
  • comply with applicable law, enforce our rules and terms, and protect our rights, users, and services.

3. AI-assisted processing

To generate certain app results, we may send relevant input data to the OpenAI API. Such data may include questionnaire responses, profile details you choose to provide, and prompt context necessary to generate the requested result.

4. How We Disclose Data

We may disclose personal data in the following circumstances:

A. To service providers and processors
We may share data with vendors and service providers that help us operate the app and backend, including providers of hosting, infrastructure, security, authentication, billing-related services, and AI processing.

B. To Google services
We may share or receive data through Google services used for authentication, Google Play Billing, purchase verification, and other related platform functionality.

C. To OpenAI
We may provide relevant input data to OpenAI in order to generate certain app results.

D. To other users
If you use compatibility features, some results may by their nature require the processing of data from two users and the presentation of the resulting compatibility output to one or both participants within the relevant feature flow.

E. At your direction
If you choose to share a result using your device’s standard sharing tools or through third-party apps or services, the information you choose to share will be processed by those third parties in accordance with their own policies.

F. For legal, protective, or business reasons
We may disclose data if required by law, legal process, or regulatory request, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the integrity of the service. We may also disclose data in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

5. Purchases, Verification, and Fraud Prevention

Payments are processed through Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card number from Google Play.

We do receive limited transaction and verification data necessary to confirm purchases, grant entitlements, investigate suspicious activity, maintain purchase records, and prevent misuse. For the purposes of fraud prevention, security, accounting, dispute handling, legal compliance, and purchase verification, we may retain certain purchase and security records even after account deletion. Where possible, such retained records may be stored separately from the deleted user profile or otherwise dissociated from it.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the service, maintaining active accounts, verifying purchases, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, enforcing our rules, and complying with legal obligations.

In general:

  • account, profile, questionnaire, and result data may be retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward;
  • logs and operational or security records may be retained for shorter periods unless a longer retention period is required for investigation, incident response, or legal reasons;
  • purchase, entitlement, accounting, and anti-fraud records may be retained for longer periods, including after profile deletion, where necessary for verification, dispute resolution, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

When data is no longer needed, we may delete it, de-identify it, or retain it in a form that is no longer linked to an active app profile, where appropriate.

7. Account Deletion and Your Rights

You may request deletion of your app account and associated data through the in-app deletion flow and, if available, through our web deletion resource at https://reino-bestias.com/delete-account.

When we confirm a deletion request, we delete or de-identify data associated with your app account within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited data for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, legal compliance, or purchase verification.

If you create a new account after deletion, it may be treated as a new account. Retained purchase or security records do not necessarily recreate or restore a deleted profile.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. Such measures may include access controls, authentication measures, secure transmission for production services, logging, and other safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service.

9. International Data Transfers

Because we and our service providers may operate in multiple countries, your personal data may be processed in jurisdictions other than your own. Those jurisdictions may have different data protection laws. Where required by applicable law, we will take steps designed to protect personal data in cross-border transfers.

10. Children

BUHO - Beasts Under Human Order is not intended for children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children below that age. If you believe that a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the Effective Date above and may provide additional notice within the app or by other appropriate means.
